Be-Free Program that works under the umbrella of Bahrain Women Association- for Human Development, participated in the forth Arabic Civil Society Forum for Childhood by presenting its experience in the area of child participation in protection from abuse. The presentation covered three main areas. The first is children and teens participation in identifying issues and areas that might lead to risks of abuse for them or their peers, and the different aspects of it. The second area is helping children and teens in reaching practical and effective solutions and ways that help in protection from abuse. The final area was Be-Free experience in creating an environment that encourages participation. The forum was a good place to network with other organizations that have similar interests, exchange experiences, distribute publications for children and caregivers about protection from abuse and protection over the internet. Moreover Be-Free distributed small magnets with phrases that participates in protecting children from abuse.
