As part of the activities of International Day for Tolerance, BWA organized a gathering for the members on “Peace Issues and tools for conflict resolution”. A talk was provided by the peace trainer and specialist, Social Entrepreneurs . The gathering was held on Wednesday November 16th at Be-Free center premises of BWA.
Ms. Anne touched upon the importance of achieving peace and the need to seek convergence of views and helping others, she also mentioned the need to forsake hatred and spitefulness and to deal lovingly with all surroundings to promote peaceful society, she concluded by sharing her personal experience in spreading peace and the challenges faced. It is worth mentioning that Ms. Mary Ann had recently established a school of peace and education sustainability to train teachers and social leaders in South America. In 2007, she was nicknamed as “Social Entrepreneur” by the World Economic Forum.
This gathering was organized by BWA as part of several activities conducted on the occasion of International Day of Tolerance. A series of specialized workshops for youth of both sexes were conducted on the culture of peace.
