The Media department organized a 3-day in-house workshop for members of the Association entitled: “Research Methods through Internet”. The purpose of the workshop was to raise the efficiency of the members in the field of digital technology, and to keep up with the technology, as well as to take advantage of the affordable e-technologies to disseminate and promote the Association’s vision on the humanitarian values to as many target audience as possible.
The trainer, Mr. Ammar Rajab, a specialist in Computer Science and Social Media Technology, focused on the latest trends on social media, and most effective methods and tools relating to social networking sites, and how to highlight and attract the largest number of followers and interested viewers on the activities and the events of the association .
Participants were briefed on how to build contents and measure the results of the interactions, as well as how to take advantage of the search sites and web developer, how to obtain accurate statistics, what are the various methods for research, how to find scientific resources sites in the search for information, and many more.
In conclusion, Mr. Rajab referred to the importance of social networking sites, and urged members to keep pace with technology and think in creative and innovative methods in deploying the activities and programs of the Association on these networks.
