The Environmental Citizenship Program (ECP) had conducted a workshop about the Earth Charter’s Principals, on Tuesday August 6th of 2012, the audience were girls from the primary and secondary schools.
The workshop began with a play aimed to define and strengthen the Earth Charter’s Principals to their audience, with presenting positive environmental attitudes, to become an ethical criterion in defining the relation people should have with the environment.
The four principals of the charter which revolves around respecting nature, human rights, economical justice and the culture of peace were also defined.
The workshop had achieved parent’s admiration, who asked for continuing these workshops with their daughters, to make sure they understand the concepts and know how to implement them.
What’s worth mentioning here is that this workshop is part of a series of activities to spread the principals of the Earth Charter to all age groups in cooperation with all public and private organizations of the civil society.
