Workshop about the Gender Integration of Coca Cola’s Management

In the partnership of both, civil societies and private sectors a workshop was conducted on the 27th of January 2013, by Dr.Soroor Qarooni, Vice president of Bahrain Women Association-For Human Development (BWA) for the Coca Cola’s company management for both Bahrain and Qatar branches on the strategies of integrating the Gender concept in the working environment.
The workshop discussed the concepts of GENDER and its importance in the development of both, individuals and nations, and had shown some numbers and statistics for both long and short term, which proved the high profitability for those companies which integrated gender concepts effectively in their working atmospheres.
The workshop also discussed the different convictions, fears and obstacles which contribute in limiting the advantages of the concept.
The workshop had covered three main aspects, first was the general vision of the companies which focuses on the understanding of the gender and plan for it and work for having it through the companies strategies from the highest levels of decision making, Second was on the aspect of management and leadership to all executives and managers, and third was on the personal level, where they work on instilling its importance In the believe system. As its extremely hard to apply the Gender and integrating it effectively, while there is no believe in it in those who try to apply it.
